WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) joined Hannity on Fox News to discuss President Trump’s announcement returning Space Command permanent headquarters to Huntsville, Alabama, as well as radical Democratic New York City mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani.

On joining President Trump in the Oval Office for the announcement of Space Command permanent headquarters returning to Huntsville, Senator Britt said the following:

We are so excited to welcome Space Command back to its rightful home of Huntsville, Alabama. This is a big moment, and it’s all thanks to President Trump … He allowed it to be a merit-based decision, and he put national security and the warfighter first. Unfortunately, President Biden chose a different path … he actually took the advice of his Secretary of the Air Force, who told him it should be in Huntsville, and disregarded it because he wanted to play partisan politics.

“Alabama is excited. We welcome this (relocation) with open arms, and we are ready to get to work. I have said often that national defense means a great deal to Alabama, but today shows that Alabama means a great deal to national defense.”

Senator Britt was also asked about the current state of the Democratic Party, and the uptick in support for socialist New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. The Senator noted, “At the end of the day, if Mamdani wins, we know that crime rates are going to go through the roof. We know that [Democrats] will be treating illegal aliens to a five-star luxury guest experience in New York’s hotels, once again. We also know that … New York City, [which] has been the king of capitalism, will see businesses flee. And at the end of the day, that’s not what’s great for our country. What we need [are] commonsense approaches.”
