Senator Katie Britt of Alabama Will Deliver Republican Address to the Nation

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) announced today Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) will deliver the Republican Address to the Nation following the State of the Union address next Thursday, March 7:

In 2023, Senator Katie Boyd Britt was sworn in as Alabama’s first elected female Senator and the youngest Republican woman ever to serve in the U.S. Senate.
